MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

The lymphatic system is made up of lymph nodes and a complex network of vessels responsible for transporting lymph from the tissues to the circulatory system. The lymphatic system is also the body's main defence system due to the presence of leucocytes (white blood cells) in the lymph.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle massage technique that promotes good lymph circulation.

Its aim is to detoxify the body, eliminating accumulated fluids and toxins that cause fluid retention, cellulite and localised fat.

It will also activate the immune system, reduce oedema and feelings of tired, swollen legs, help with post-surgical recovery or oncological diseases (the latter two, as long as prescribed by the doctor).

In the case of pregnant women, it is one of the few manual manipulation techniques they can and should receive.

This is a massage that helps you relax and gain general health and well-being.
